At Lady K Leveson we are very happy to have a team of dedicated Governors who meet regularly and ensure that the school is running smoothly.
Ian
was trained as a teacher in a church college, taking RE as his principal subject and also gained the advanced Certificate in Christian Education. After teaching for 15 years in a Church of England VA School. He then became Head Teacher of Greswold Primary School for the following 18 Years. Since retiring he has been a member of the Governing body of Lady Katherine Leveson where he teaches maths to some of the more able children every week. He also leads worship in a number of schools and churches. His other interests include Scouting, where he is currently Deputy County Commissioner for the area, and enjoys walking and travel (when he gets the time).
Cynthia Veal -
Cyntha has been a Governor at the school for ten years since he retired from teachin. He was appointed by the Diocese as one of their two representitives. He enjoys coming into school as often as he can, meeting all the children and the staff. He also regards it as an honour to be on the Lady Katherine Leveson board of Governors.
Richard Hancox -
Richard is a father of three children, who have all attended Lady Katherine School, and has been a parent governor for over two years. A senior Health Service Manager, with 20 years experience (recently responsible for leading the response to the H1N1 Swine Flu Pandemic for Coventry) and a qualified Public Finance Accountant, Richard is a the school's caring ethos and is committed to improving the governance and performance as a member of the Governing Body.
